एष कर्णो रणे पार्थ पाण्डवानामनीकिनीम्‌ | शरैरविध्वंसयति वै नलिनीमिव कुड्जर:

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

eṣa karṇo raṇe pārtha pāṇḍavānām anīkinīm |

śarair avidhvaṃsayati vai nalinīm iva kuñjaraḥ ||

Translation

三阇耶说道：“噢，普利塔之子（阿周那）！看哪，迦尔那在战场上——他确实以箭雨摧碎般度族军阵，正如巨象搅动并毁坏满池莲华的水塘。”
