Arjuna’s targeted advance; Śalya–Karṇa dialogue; interception attempts
एवं ब्रुवंस्तदा कृष्णो ययौ यत्र युधिष्ठिर: । अर्जुनश्नापि नृपतेर्दर्शनार्थ महारणे,इस प्रकार बातें करते हुए भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन उस महासमरमें राजाका दर्शन करनेके लिये उस स्थानकी ओर चल दिये, जहाँ राजा युधिष्छिर विद्यमान थे
evaṁ bruvaṁs tadā kṛṣṇo yayau yatra yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | arjunaś cāpi nṛpater darśanārthaṁ mahāraṇe ||
三阇耶说道：如此言说之时，克里希纳便前往由提施提罗所在之处。阿周那亦在这场大战中为觐见国王而行，朝由提施提罗驻立之地而去。此颂彰显战火之中仍有明确的旨意：纵在厮杀纷乱里，领袖亦以亲身会晤求取商议、安定与对达摩的正当归依。
