जगाम भरतमश्रेष्ठ वध्यमानं परस्परम् | भरतश्रेष्ठ! परस्पर मार खाती हुई वह सेना रक्तके प्रवाहमें डूबकर खूनसे लथपथ हो गयी थी और एक-दूसरेकी चोट खाकर विनाशको प्राप्त हो रही थी
