Educational Q&A

Even amid war, judgment and restraint can be guided by dharma and loyalty: Yudhiṣṭhira refrains from a further strike, acting with a deliberate concern for Arjuna’s interest rather than impulsive violence.

Karṇa collapses unconscious, falling toward Śalya. Observing this, Yudhiṣṭhira does not deliver another blow to Karṇa, choosing to hold back at that moment with Arjuna’s welfare in mind.
