Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
कियत् तत् तत् प्रवक्ष्यामि येन येन धनंजय: । त्वत्तो5तिरिक्तः सर्वेभ्यो भूतेभ्यो ब्राह्मणो यथा
kiyat tat tat pravakṣyāmi yena yena dhanañjayaḥ | tvatto 'tiriktaḥ sarvebhyo bhūtebhyo brāhmaṇo yathā ||
我还能说到何等地步，反复细数那使得檀那阇耶（阿周那）胜过你的种种德能？正如婆罗门被视为众生之首，阿周那也同样在你之上。此言意在折抑骄矜，并申明尊卑次第当立于公认的卓越，而非战场上的自我夸称。
