Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
कुर्वाणा विविधान् रावानाशंसन्तो जयं तथा । वे दो-दो घड़ीपर बारंबार उड़-उड़कर कहते--'देखो
kurvāṇā vividhān rāvān āśaṃsanto jayaṃ tathā |
群鸦发出种种刺耳的叫声，反复宣称胜利必归己方。它们一再上下翻飞，讥笑道：“看哪——这只乌鸦的飞法，那只乌鸦的飞法！”就这样嘲弄天鹅，以刻薄之言相加。与此同时，它们又为乌鸦的得胜献上吉祥的祝愿，变换着各种声调喋喋不休，从树枝扑向地面，又由地面跃回枝头——躁动喧嚣，一心要羞辱那高贵者。
