वरान् प्रादाद् बहुविधान् भार्गवाय महात्मने । उक्तश्न देवदेवेन प्रीतियुक्तेन शूलिना,उन देवाधिदेव त्रिशूलधारी भगवान् शिवने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ महात्मा भार्गवको नाना प्रकारके वर प्रदान किये
varān prādād bahuvidhān bhārgavāya mahātmane | uktaś ca devadevena prītiyuktena śūlinā ||
大天摩诃提婆——诸神之主——怀着欢悦与慈爱，赐予大心的婆伽婆（Bhārgava）种种恩赐。此段强调：神的眷顾被描绘为对虔敬与相称之德的回应；而力量理当以明辨而授，不应以傲慢强求。
