मृतस्तस्यां परिक्षिप्तस्तादृशेनैव जज्ञिवान् जो दैत्य जिस रूप और जैसे वेषमें रहता था, मरनेपर उस बावड़ीमें डालनेके पश्चात् वैसे ही रूप और वेषसे सम्पन्न होकर प्रकट हो जाता था
mṛtastasyāṃ parikṣiptastādṛśenaiva jajñivān | yo daityaḥ yas rūpa aur jaise veṣameṃ rahatā thā, maraṇepara us bāvaṛīmeṃ ḍālneke paścāt vaise hī rūpa aur veṣase sampanna hokara prakaṭa ho jātā thā ||
杜尤陀那说道:“即便他被杀死并被投入那口井中,他也仍会如故再生——以那恶魔生前所具的同一形貌与伪装,再次现身。”
दुर्योधन उवाच
The verse highlights that some destructive forces persist through repeated re-manifestation, especially when they rely on disguise and deception; therefore, ethical vigilance and correct discernment are as necessary as physical defeat.
Duryodhana describes a demon-like being who, even after being killed and thrown into a well, reappears again with the same appearance and disguise, implying an uncanny cycle of return.
