Adhyāya 31
“महातेजस्वी नरेश! अब कर्णका और आपका भाग शेष रह गया है। अतः: आप कर्णके साथ रहकर शत्रुसेनाके उस भागको एक साथ ही नष्ट कर दीजिये ।।
sañjaya uvāca | mahātejasvin nareśa! adya karṇasya ca tava ca bhāgaḥ śeṣaḥ paryavasitaḥ | ataḥ tvaṁ karṇena saha tiṣṭhan śatrusenāyās tasya bhāgasyaikata eva nāśaṁ kuru || aruṇena yathā sārdhaṁ tamaḥ sūryo vyapohati | tathā karṇena sahito jahi pārtha mahāhave ||
三阇耶说道：“噢，光辉赫奕之王！如今只剩下属于迦尔那与您二人的那一份战局。故当与迦尔那并肩而立，以同心一击摧毁敌军的那一部分。正如太阳偕同阿鲁那驱散黑暗；同样，您当与迦尔那相合，在这场大决战中击倒帕尔塔（阿周那）。”
