सोढा घोराणि बहुश: शल्यभूतानि संजय । अहो! द्यूतक्रीडाका यह घोर परिणाम इस समय प्रकट हुआ है। संजय! आश्चर्य है कि मैंने दुर्योधनके कारण बहुत-से तीव्र एवं भयंकर दुःख, जो काँटोंके समान कसक रहे हैं, सहन किये हैं
soḍhā ghorāṇi bahuśaḥ śalyabhūtāni sañjaya | aho dyūtakrīḍākāyaḥ ghoraḥ pariṇāmaḥ asmin samaye prakaṭaḥ | sañjaya āścaryam etat yat mayā duryodhanakāraṇāt bahūni tīvra-bhayānakāni duḥkhāni kaṇṭakavat kaṣamāṇāni soḍhāni |
三阇耶说道:“我一再忍受无数可怖的苦痛——那疼楚仿佛倒刺般扎在体内。唉,那场掷骰赌博的惨烈后果,如今就在此刻显现了。三阇耶,真令人惊异:因为都利约陀那,我承受了数不尽的尖锐而可怕的哀伤,刺痛如荆棘。”
संजय उवाच
