Transliteration

tataḥ śara-sahasrāṇi prādurāsan viśāmpate

Translation

三阇耶说道：“于是，噢，众民之主，成千上万支箭矢骤然显现，随着交锋愈发激烈而充塞战场——这冷峻的征兆昭示：人在战争中，意志竟能如此迅疾地转化为铺天盖地的暴烈。”
