Renewal of the Karṇa–Arjuna Engagement at Day’s End
तेषामष्टौ महानागांश्षतुःषष्ट्या सुतेजनै: । सहदेवो जघानाशु तेडपतन् सह सादिभि:,सहदेवने उनमेंसे आठ महागजोंको चौंसठ पैने बाणोंसे शीघ्र मार डाला। वे सब-के-सब सवारोंके साथ धराशायी हो गये
teṣām aṣṭau mahānāgān ṣaṭṣaṣṭyā sutejanaiḥ | sahadevo jaghānāśu te ’patann saha sādibhiḥ ||
三阇耶说道：萨诃提婆迅疾以六十四支如剃刀般锋利的箭矢，射倒八头巨大的战象。它们尽皆连同象背骑士一齐坠地。此景凸显战场技艺那冷峻而高效的一面：勇气与法（dharma，义务）在战争沉重的道德阴影之下，通过果决而致命的行动被践行。
