भीष्मस्य मध्याह्नयुद्धवर्णनम् / Mid-day Battle Description: Bhīṣma Engaged by the Pāñcālas
विशब्दैरल्पशब्दैश्व शोणितौघपरिप्लुतै: । गतासुभिरमित्रघ्न विबभौ निचिता मही
sañjaya uvāca |
viśabdair alpaśabdaiś ca śoṇitaughapariplutaiḥ |
gatāsubhir amitraghna vibabhau nicitā mahī ||
桑阇耶说道：“噢，诛敌之王啊，那里的大地仿佛堆满并散布着尸身：有的倒下无声，不能出言；有的只能发出微弱的声响；大多浸在血流之中，许多躯体已彻底失去生命。”
