पादाताशक्ष पदात्योघैस्ताडिता: शक्तितोमरै: । न्यपतन्त तदा भूमौ शतशो5थ सहस्रश:,उस समय पैदल सिपाही पैदलोंद्वारा ही शक्ति और तोमरोंसे घायल हो सैकड़ों और हजारोंकी संख्यामें धराशायी हो रहे थे
pādātāś ca padātyoghais tāḍitāḥ śakti-tomaraiḥ | nyapatanta tadā bhūmau śataśo ’tha sahasraśaḥ ||
三阇耶说道:其时,步兵在汹涌的人潮中相互冲击,又被长矛与投枪所伤,成百成千地倒伏于地。此景昭示战阵阴冷的无偏:最沉重的代价往往由寻常战士承担,而暴力也在个人意志之外不断滋蔓。
संजय उवाच
