राक्षसस्य तु त॑ शब्दं श्रुत्वा राजा युधिष्ठिर: । उवाच भरतश्रेष्ठ भीमसेनमरिंदमम्,भरतश्रेष्ठ! राक्षस घटोत्कचकी उस गर्जनाको सुनकर राजा युधिष्ठिरने शत्रुदमन भीमसेनसे इस प्रकार कहा--
rākṣasasya tu taṁ śabdaṁ śrutvā rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | uvāca bharataśreṣṭha bhīmasenam arindamam ||
三阇耶说道：听到那罗刹的咆哮，尤提施提罗王——婆罗多族之最——便对降伏强敌的毗摩塞那如此说道——。此处凸显统帅之责：临危而不乱，在战火之中调度力量以护佑己方。
