Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

godhā-madraka-liṅgāś ca kāśayo 'parakāśayaḥ |

jaṭharāḥ kukkurāś caiva daśārṇāś ca bhārata ||

Translation

三阇耶说道：噢，婆罗多（持国王），“又有瞿陀、摩陀罗迦与迦陵伽诸民；迦尸与阿婆罗迦尸；阇吒罗与拘拘罗；并且还有达沙尔那人。”在这份兵众名录中，三阇耶继续揭示：次大陆诸国如何广泛地被牵入俱卢之野的战争，从而凸显一场把众多社群拖入同一暴力原野的冲突，其道德与社会代价何其浩大。
