महाव्यूहप्रवर्तनम् / Deployment of the Great Battle Arrays
शस्त्रास्त्रविद्धिर्नरवीरयो थै- रथिछिता: सैन्यगणास्त्वदीया: । रथौघपादातगजाश्चसंघै: प्रयाद्धिराजी विधिवत् प्रणुन्ने:
sañjaya uvāca |
śastrāstraviddhir naravīrayothai rathicchitāḥ sainyagaṇās tvadīyāḥ |
rathaughapādātagajāś ca saṅghaiḥ prayāddhi rājī vidhivat praṇunneḥ ||
三阇耶说道：陛下的军队——那些被兵刃与飞矢击中、刺穿的勇士，以及许多被斩落的战车御者——在敌势逼迫下，仍按战阵之法有序后退。战车、步兵与战象密集成群，从战场上撤出，皆为攻势之力所迫。
