भीष्मस्य मण्डलव्यूहः — Bhīṣma’s Maṇḍala Battle-Formation and the Opening Engagements
वे सब-के-सब दुर्योधनकी आज्ञासे अर्जुनका संहार करनेके लिये आये थे। परंतु वे उस समय आगममें गिरे हुए पतंगोंकी भाँति उनके पास आते ही नष्ट हो गये ।।
tato matsyāḥ kekayāś ca dhanuḥvedaviśāradāḥ | parivavruḥ tadā pārthaṃ sahaputraṃ mahāratham ||
三阇耶说道：他们全都奉都利约陀那之令前来诛灭阿周那；然而一近其前，便如飞蛾坠火般立刻覆灭。随后，摩蹉与计迦耶诸勇士，皆精于弓术之学，环护阿周那这位大车战士，并与其子同在，列阵以待，与俱卢军交战。
