भीमसेन: सुसंक्रुद्ध: परासुकरणं दृढम् | चित्र कार्मुकमादत्त शरांश्व निशितान् दश
bhīmasenaḥ susaṁkruddhaḥ parāsukaraṇaṁ dṛḍham | citra-kārmukam ādatta śarāṁś ca niśitān daśa ||
三阇耶说道:毗摩塞那怒火炽盛,杀意坚决,遂执起华美之弓,取出十支锋利如刃的利箭——这昭示战局的决然升级:在此,愤怒与决心驱使行动走向致命的终局。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how intense anger, when joined with firm resolve, can propel a warrior toward lethal action; in the epic’s ethical frame, such force must be understood within kṣatriya-dharma, where battle demands restraint and purpose even amid rage.
Sañjaya reports that Bhīma, burning with anger, grips his fine bow and readies ten sharp arrows, indicating he is about to launch a serious, potentially decisive attack in the ongoing Kurukṣetra combat.
