sañjaya uvāca |
śikhaṇḍī saha matsyena virāṭena viśāmpate |
bhīṣmam āśu maheṣvāsam āsasāda sudurjayam ||
三阇耶说道：人民之主啊（持国王），尸佉ṇḍī与摩蹉国王毗罗吒结伴，迅疾逼近毗湿摩——那位伟大的弓手、极难战胜之人——由此将战局推向最凶烈、最关乎命运的一次交锋。
