Adhyāya 74 (Book 6, Bhīṣma-parva): Bhīma–Duryodhana re-engagement and afternoon escalation
matsyā duryodhanaṃ jagmuḥ śakuniṃ ca viśāmpate | drupadaś cekitānaś ca sātyakiś ca mahārathaḥ ||

The verse underscores how collective responsibility and alliance shape the battlefield: leaders and their advisers become focal points of opposition, and warriors align themselves according to perceived dharma and loyalty, accepting the consequences of their chosen side.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Matsya forces move against Duryodhana and Śakuni, while Drupada, Cekitāna, and Sātyaki also advance—indicating the formation of engagements and targeted confrontations among key commanders.
