Educational Q&A

To recognize greatness ‘as it truly is’ (yathātattvam): Bhīṣma’s counsel implies that ethical judgment and strategic decisions must be grounded in clear understanding of the real stature and power of Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna, not in pride or denial.

Sañjaya reports that Bhīṣma reiterates to Duryodhana that he has already explained the authentic greatness of Keśava and Arjuna; it is a moment of counsel and warning within the war narrative of Bhīṣma Parva.
