भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः

इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें चौथे दिनका युद्धविरामविषयक चौसठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ,ऋषयो देवगन्धर्वा यक्षराक्षसपन्नगा: । पिशाचा मानुषाश्वैव मृगपक्षिसरीसूपा:
ṛṣayo devagandharvā yakṣarākṣasapannagāḥ | piśācā mānuṣāś caiva mṛgapakṣisarīsṛpāḥ ||
三阇耶继续说道：受此事牵动、在场并为之震荡者，种类何其广大——有诸仙圣（ṛṣi）、天界乐神乾闼婆（Gandharva）、夜叉与罗刹，蛇形之众如那伽（Nāga），又有食尸鬼般的毗舍遮（Piśāca）与人类；并及走兽、飞禽与一切爬行微类。此偈昭示：战争之动荡并非只关乎王侯与武士，它震撼整个道德与宇宙秩序，使诸类众生皆为之注目，提醒听者不义（adharma）与暴力所招致的普遍后果。
