भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः

Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify

संजय उवाच शृणु राजन्नवहित: श्रुत्वा चैवावधारय । नैव मन्त्रकृतं किंचिन्नैव मायां तथाविधाम्‌

sañjaya uvāca | śṛṇu rājann avahitaḥ śrutvā caivāvadhāraya | naiva mantrakṛtaṃ kiñcin naiva māyāṃ tathāvidhām |

三阇耶说道:“大王,请专心聆听;听毕之后,当自思自断。般度诸子并无咒术所成之力,也不施那等惑人的妖幻。其强盛与王之败北,皆由别的缘由而起,并非凭借隐秘邪术。”
