मिषतां सर्वसैन्यानामनयद् यमसादनम् । इसके बाद उस महासमरमें भीमसेनने सम्पूर्ण सेनाओंके देखते-देखते श्षुरप्रसे मारकर सुलोचनको भी यमलोकका अतिथि बना दिया
miṣatāṁ sarvasainyānām anayad yamasādanam |
三阇耶说道:在诸军众目睽睽之下,他将那人送入阎摩之所——于大战之中当众斩杀。随后,在那场大交锋里,毗摩塞那又在全军注视之下,以利器诛杀苏罗遮那,使其成为阎摩界的“来客”。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the public, duty-bound nature of battlefield action and its ultimate consequence—death. It implicitly points to the ethical weight of kṣatriya warfare: deeds are witnessed, reputation is forged, yet all culminates in mortality under Yama’s domain.
Sañjaya reports that, in the midst of battle, a warrior is slain in full view of all the troops—so decisively that he is said to be ‘sent to Yama’s abode,’ a conventional epic expression for being killed.
