Excellence in action (here, martial skill) becomes ethically meaningful when governed by dharma: disciplined mastery restrains chaos, protects one’s side, and earns recognition even from higher orders of beings—yet it also implies responsibility in how power is used.
Arjuna counters and stops a dense ‘rain’ of weapons coming from all directions by shooting gold-adorned arrows, displaying extraordinary speed and precision; witnessing this, various classes of celestial and other beings acclaim him with cries of “sādhu, sādhu.”
