भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
यत्र यत्र सुतस्तुभ्यं यं यं पश्यति भारत । तत्र तत्र न्यवर्तन्त क्षत्रियाणां महारथा:,भारत! आपका पुत्र दुर्योधन जहाँ-जहाँ जिस-जिसकी ओर दृष्टिपात करता, वहीं- वहींसे ऐसे योद्धा भी लौट आते थे जो क्षत्रियोंमें महारथी थे
yatra yatra sutas tubhyaṃ yaṃ yaṃ paśyati bhārata | tatra tatra nyavartanta kṣatriyāṇāṃ mahārathāḥ ||
三阇耶说道：“噢，婆罗多啊，你的儿子目光所及——他望向谁——那里当即，刹帝利中的大车战勇士便转身回返。”此句强调：在战阵纷乱之中，杜尤陀那焦灼的巡视与号令之权，竟能左右连名将也不例外的行动与士气。
