三阇耶说道:在那里,我们见到了希丁芭之子——伽托迦遮——令人惊异的神勇。他在战斗中甚至胜过其父,以非凡的勇力奋战,使战场众人无不骇然。

The verse highlights how extraordinary capability can arise from lineage yet exceed it, emphasizing recognition of merit and valor in its own right. Ethically, it underscores the awe and gravity of war, where prowess becomes a decisive and morally weighty force witnessed by all.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that on the battlefield they witnessed the astonishing heroism of Ghaṭotkaca, described as the son of Hiḍimbā, who fought so powerfully that he seemed to surpass even his father (implicitly Bhīma) in martial prowess.
