Five Elements, Sensory Qualities, and a Cosmographic Island
संवृतो5प्सरसां सड्घैमोंदते गुह्यकाधिप: । वहाँ तपाये हुए सुवर्णके समान गौर कान्तिवाले मनुष्य उत्पन्न होते हैं। गन्धमादन पर्वतके शिखरोंपर गुह्मकोंके स्वामी कुबेर राक्षसोंके साथ रहते और अप्सराओं-के समुदायोंके साथ आमोद-प्रमोद करते हैं ।। ३४ ई ।। गन्धमादनपादेषु परेष्वपरगण्डिका:
sañjaya uvāca | saṃvṛto 'psarasāṃ saṅghair modate guhyakādhipaḥ | gandhamādana-pādēṣu pareṣv aparagaṇḍikāḥ |
三阇耶说道：被众阿普萨罗（天女）之队环绕，俱毗罗——古希耶迦之主——纵情嬉游而自得。于甘陀摩陀那山的高坡与峻巅，亦可见其他奇异之众生。此段描绘天界般的逸乐与丰饶，却也含蓄提醒：此等欢娱仍在轮回（saṃsāra）之中，并非达摩所推崇的究竟归宿。
