स तथा कुरु गाड्गेय यथा हन्येत फाल्गुन: । 'प्रजानाथ! आपहीके कारण कर्णने भी हथियार डाल दिया है और वह रणभूमिमें अर्जुनसे युद्ध नहीं कर रहा है। कर्ण मेरा सदा हित चाहनेवाला है। गंगानन्दन! आप ऐसा प्रयत्न कीजिये
sa tathā kuru gāṅgeya yathā hanyeta phālgunaḥ |
三阇耶说道：“噶恒伽之裔（毗湿摩）啊，当如此行事，使法尔古那（阿周那）得以被诛。”此言显出俱卢一方在战局逼迫下的急切劝进：压过道义踌躇，只求除去最可畏的强敌。
