भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय 54: फल्गुन-प्रतिरोधः, सौबली-व्यूह-विध्वंसः, दुर्योधन-भीष्म-संवादः

सर्वानद्य रणे दृप्तान्‌ प्रतियोत्स्यामि पार्थिव । तब धृष्टद्युम्नने सबका हर्ष बढ़ाते हुए कहा--'पार्थ! मुझे भगवान्‌ शंकरने पहलेसे ही द्रोणाचार्यका काल बनाकर उत्पन्न किया है। पृथ्वीपते! आज समरांगणमें मैं भीष्म

sañjaya uvāca |

sarvān adya raṇe dṛptān pratiyotsyāmi pārthiva |

atha dhṛṣṭadyumnena sarveṣāṃ harṣaṃ vardhayatā uktam—

“pārtha! māṃ bhagavān śaṅkaraḥ pūrvam eva droṇācāryasya kālaṃ kṛtvā janayāmāsa |

pṛthvīpate! adya samarāṅgaṇe ’haṃ bhīṣmaṃ kṛpācāryaṃ droṇācāryaṃ śalyaṃ jayadrathaṃ ca—etān sarvān abhimānino yodhān pratiyotsye” ||

atha utkruṣṭaṃ maheṣvāsaiḥ pāṇḍavair yuddha-durmadāiḥ |

iti śrutvā yuddhāya mattā mahā-dhanurdharāḥ pāṇḍavāḥ uccaiḥ siṃhanādaṃ cakruḥ |

śatru-sūdana nṛpa-śreṣṭha drupada-putra dhṛṣṭadyumne evaṃ yuddhāya udyate sati kuntī-kumāra yudhiṣṭhiraḥ senāpatiṃ drupada-kumāraṃ punaḥ evam uvāca—

桑阇耶说道:“大王啊,今日战场之上,我将迎战那些狂傲的武士,尽皆不避。” 随后,德里什塔丢姆那振奋众心,使众人欢欣更盛,宣告道:“噢,帕尔塔!主神商羯罗早已令我降生,注定我为德罗纳阿阇梨之死。噢,大地之主!今日在战场上,我将直面毗湿摩、克利帕阿阇梨、德罗纳阿阇梨、沙利耶与阇耶德罗陀——这些自负的斗士,尽在其列。” 闻此言,般度五子——伟大的弓手,沉醉于战意的烈焰——齐声发出震天的狮子吼。及至德里什塔丢姆那,德鲁帕达之子、降敌之王子,已整装待战,昆蒂之子尤提士提罗又一次对那位统帅、德鲁帕达之子,如此说道。
