प्रीतो&हं पुत्र युध्यस्व जयमाप्रुहि पाण्डव । यत्‌ तेडभिलषितं चान्यत्‌ तदवाप्रुहि संयुगे,पाण्डुनन्दन! पुत्र! अब मैं प्रसन्न हूँ और तुम्हें आज्ञा देता हूँ। तुम युद्ध करो और विजय पाओ। इसके सिवा और भी जो तुम्हारी अभिलाषा हो, वह इस युद्धभूमिमें प्राप्त करो

bhīṣma uvāca | prīto 'haṃ putra yudhyasva jayam āpruhi pāṇḍava | yat te 'bhilaṣitaṃ cānyat tad avāpruhi saṃyuge pāṇḍunandana ||

毗湿摩说道:“吾子,我已欢喜。战吧,般度之子,去得胜利。并且你心中所怀的其他愿望,也都在此战场上成就吧——噫,般度一脉之荣光。”
