阿周那说:他请求奎师那阐明先前所提出诸名相的深义——“梵”(Brahman)为何物,“内我”(adhyātma)作何解,“业”(karma)在宇宙层面意味着什么;又当如何理解“依物”(adhibhūta)、“依天”(adhidaiva)与“依祭”(adhiyajña),尤其是它们与具身之人的关系。在战场这一伦理与灵性并峙的处境中,阿周那的发问显示他已由战术性的忧惧转向求取正见,以免行动迷乱,使责任(dharma)扎根于对真实与神圣的正确认识。
अजुन उवाच
Right action in a crisis must be grounded in right understanding: Arjuna seeks precise definitions of key metaphysical terms so that duty and spiritual practice are aligned with the true nature of the Self, the world, and the Divine who presides over sacrifice and inner life.
On the battlefield, after Krishna’s teaching, Arjuna turns from confusion to inquiry. He asks Krishna to explain technical terms—Brahman, adhyatma, karma, adhibhuta, adhidaiva, and adhiyajna—and specifically how the Lord as adhiyajna is present within the body.
