Discipline of Meditation and Mental Restraint
पहले भी जिनके राग, भय और क्रोध सर्वथा नष्ट हो गये थे और जो मुझमें अनन्यप्रेमपूर्वक स्थित रहते थे, ऐसे मेरे आश्रित रहनेवाले बहुत-से भक्त उपर्युक्त ज्ञानरूप तपसे पवित्र होकर मेरे स्वरूपको प्राप्त हो चुके हैं ।।
ye yathā māṁ prapadyante tāṁs tathaiva bhajāmy aham | mama vartmānuvartante manuṣyāḥ pārtha sarvaśaḥ ||
阿周那啊,往昔亦复如是:凡贪、惧、嗔尽灭,怀无二之爱而安住于我、归依于我者,许多信奉者以智慧之苦行而得清净,已证得我的自性。众生以何种方式归向我,我亦以同样方式摄受回应;因为一切人于诸般途径,终究都在循行我的道路。
अजुन उवाच
The Lord responds to seekers in accordance with the manner and sincerity of their approach—devotion, surrender, or disciplined seeking—while affirming that all human striving operates within the Divine order and ultimately traces the Divine path.
In the midst of the Kurukṣetra setting, Kṛṣṇa instructs Arjuna on spiritual principles: He explains that different temperaments and modes of worship lead to corresponding experiences of divine support, and that diverse human pursuits still unfold along the overarching path governed by Him.
