भीष्मव्यूहदर्शनम् / Viewing Bhīṣma’s Battle Array and Arjuna’s Reassurance
अथार्जुनोडब्रवीत् पार्थ युधिष्िरममित्रहा । विषण्णमिव सम्प्रेक्ष्य तव राजन्ननीकिनीम्,राजन! तब शत्रुओंका नाश करनेवाले अर्जुनने आपकी सेनाको देखकर विषादग्रस्त-से हुए कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिरको सम्बोधित करके कहा--
atha arjuno 'bravīt pārtha yudhiṣṭhiram amitrahā | viṣaṇṇam iva samprekṣya tava rājann anīkinīm ||
三阇耶说道:于是,阿周那——普利塔之子、灭敌者——见到昆蒂之子坚战(由提施提罗)在望见大王的军阵时仿佛为忧惧所压,便上前对他说道。
संजय उवाच
Even when a cause is grounded in dharma, the sight of impending violence can produce moral sorrow and hesitation; the epic highlights that righteous leadership requires acknowledging this grief while still discerning and acting upon duty.
Sanjaya narrates to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Arjuna notices Yudhiṣṭhira appearing dejected after seeing the opposing army and begins to address him, setting up counsel and resolve amid the pre-battle tension.
