Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | ity etad bahuvṛttāntaṃ bhīṣmaparvākhilaṃ mayā | śṛṇvate te mahārāja proktaṃ pāpaharaṃ śubham ||

Translation

毗舍波耶那曰：“大王啊，我已将充满诸多事迹的《毗湿摩篇》全篇如是为你叙说，而你亦以听者之身聆受。此篇吉祥，能灭诸罪。”
