शिखण्डी तु रणे श्रेष्ठो रक्ष््माण: किरीटिना

Transliteration

śikhaṇḍī tu raṇe śreṣṭho rakṣyamāṇaḥ kirīṭinā | atāḍayan raṇe bhīṣmaṃ sahitāḥ sarvasṛñjayāḥ ||

Translation

三阇耶说：在那场战斗中，善见提（Śikhaṇḍī）——战阵中最为骁勇者——在戴冠的阿周那护卫之下，向毗湿摩发起攻击。与他同来，诸斯林阇耶战士亦合力从四面围击毗湿摩，欲以协同之势压倒这位可敬的老祖。
