Shloka 103
।। सम्प्रेक्ष्य वै महाबुद्धिश्रचिन्तयित्वा च भारत
saṃprekṣya vai mahābuddhiś cintayitvā ca bhārata, bhārata! haṃsānāṃ jāte samaye tān dṛṣṭvā parama-buddhimān bhīṣmaḥ kiñcid vicārya tān uvāca—ahaṃ sūryasya dakṣiṇāyane vartamāne kathaṃcid api ihaḥ prāṇān parityajya na yāsyāmi; eṣa me manasaḥ niścitaḥ saṅkalpaḥ.
三阇耶说道：噢，婆罗多！当白鸟将要离去之时，毗湿摩——至智之人——目送他们，沉思片刻，然后对他们说道：“只要太阳仍在南行（达克希那衍那），我无论如何都不会从此处离去。这是我心中既定的决断。”
