ततः सर्वमहीपानां क्षपयित्वा वरूथिनीम्
tataḥ sarva-mahīpānāṁ kṣapayitvā varūthinīm
三阇耶说道:“随后,他耗尽并摧毁了诸王的战阵,便继续向前推进。”

The verse highlights the fragility of worldly power in war: even vast royal forces (‘all the kings’) can be rapidly exhausted and destroyed. Ethically, it points to the heavy cost of conflict and the way martial pride collapses under the reality of violence.
Sañjaya reports that a warrior (implied from the surrounding context) has broken down the combined battle formation/host of many kings, effectively routing or annihilating their organized force as the battle continues.
