त्रिदशा5पि समुद्युक्ता नाल॑ भीष्म॑ं समासितुम् | किमु पार्था महात्मानं मर्त्यभूता महाबला:
tridaśā api samudyuktā nālaṁ bhīṣmaṁ samāsitum | kimu pārthā mahātmānaṁ martyabhūtā mahābalāḥ ||
三阇耶说道：纵使诸天神齐集并肩、奋力出战，也不能在战斗中与毗湿摩相抗。更何况普利塔之强子——不过是受死法拘束的凡人——又怎能与那位大心的毗湿摩对阵？此言凸显毗湿摩威德的道义分量，也点出战争所能造成的可怕失衡：当德行、经验与命运汇聚于一名战士之身，便势如天倾。
