पौरवो धृष्टकेतुं च शरैराच्छाद्य संयुगे | बहुधा दारयांचक्रे महेष्वासं महारथ:
pauravo dhṛṣṭaketuṁ ca śarair ācchādya saṁyuge | bahudhā dārayāṁcakre maheṣvāsaṁ mahārathaḥ ||
三阇耶说道:在激战之中,般度罗婆(Paurava)勇士以箭雨遮覆提利什塔计都(Dhṛṣṭaketu),又一再猛击,撕裂那位伟大的弓手——强悍的摩诃车战士(maharathi)——企图以不息的武力压倒他。
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports that a Paurava warrior, in the midst of combat, showers Dhṛṣṭaketu with arrows and repeatedly pierces him, attempting to subdue a renowned archer and great chariot-fighter.
