सा च सर्वनरेन्द्राणां चन्द्रार्कसदृशी प्रभा । वीराज़दकिरीटेषु निष्प्रभा समपद्यत,समस्त राजाओंकी चन्द्रमा और सूर्यके समान प्रकाशित होनेवाली प्रभा वीरोंके अंगद और किरीटोंके सामने अत्यन्त फीकी पड़ गयी
sā ca sarva-narendrāṇāṃ candrārka-sadṛśī prabhā | vīrājad-akirīṭeṣu niṣprabhā samapadyata ||
三阇耶说道：诸王的光辉——如月如日般灿然——在诸英雄的臂钏与王冠之前，竟黯然失色，仿佛失去了本有的辉耀。此景昭示：在战争中，世间荣华须以武勇与可见的英烈标志来衡量。
