Bhīṣma–Karṇa Saṃvāda on the Śaraśayyā (भीष्म–कर्ण संवादः शरशय्यायाम्)

विव्यधुर्निशितैर्बाणै रुक्मपुड्खैरजिद्दागै: । इसी प्रकार अन्य शूरवीर महारथियोंने भीमसेन और अर्जुनको सुवर्णपंखयुक्त, सीधे जानेवाले पैने बाणोंद्वारा बींध डाला

vivyadhur niśitair bāṇai rukmapuḍkhair ajiddāgaiḥ |

三阇耶说道:他们以锋利之箭贯穿毗摩塞那与阿周那——箭矢直飞,饰以金色羽翎。由此可见,在战斗的狂烈之中,即便是伟大的战士也要承受同样无情的兵刃之力;而勇武,正是在暴烈之间以忍耐与克制来受试炼。
