वीक्षांचक्रुमहाराज पाण्डवा भयपीडिता: । महाराज! भीष्मके द्वारा मारे जाते हुए सैकड़ों और हजारों पाण्डव सैनिक समरमें अलौकिक पराक्रम प्रकट करनेवाले भीष्मको भयसे पीड़ित होकर देख रहे थे
vīkṣāṃ cakrur mahārāja pāṇḍavā bhayapīḍitāḥ |
三阇耶说道：大王啊，般度族的战士们为恐惧所折磨，只能眼睁睁望着——当他们的士卒成百上千、成千上万被毗湿摩斩落；毗湿摩在战阵中的威势几近超人。此景表明：即便为正义而战者，面对压倒性的武力也会动摇；而当守护者成群倒下时，恐惧便在军中蔓延。
