Dakṣiṇā-vibhāga and Avabhṛtha
Completion of the Aśvamedha
tasmād yajñaphalais tulyaṃ na kiñcid iha dṛśyate | iti me vartate buddhis tathā caitad asaṃśayam ||
The verse asserts the supreme efficacy of yajña (sacrificial duty) in producing spiritual and social merit: no other action is seen as equal to the fruits of properly performed sacrifice, reflecting a dharmic valuation of ritual responsibility and its results.
King Janamejaya states his firm conviction about the unmatched rewards of sacrificial rites, reinforcing the discussion in the Ashvamedhika context where royal yajñas and their dharmic significance are being considered.
