Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha

ब्राह्मणास्तपसा युक्ता यथाशक्ति प्रदायिन: । “उस स्वर्गद्वारकी जो अर्गला (किल्ली) है

brāhmaṇās tapasā yuktā yathāśakti pradāyinaḥ |

岳父说道:“那些以苦行自律、并量力行施的婆罗门,才真能觉见‘天界之门’。那门闩由贪欲之种铸成,而此门又为执著所遮蔽;因此入内极其艰难。唯有苦行的婆罗门——已胜忿怒、制伏诸根,并随力布施者——方能得见那道门。”
