The verse highlights the unstoppable and cleansing momentum of divine force: when a higher power (Agni) is set in motion, it advances irresistibly, reshaping its surroundings—suggesting that cosmic order can override ordinary constraints when dharmic purposes are being carried forward.
After speaking, Agni—described as ‘smoke-bannered’—moves away, crushing trees and creepers as he goes. His movement is compared to the roaring wind that ranges freely at the end of winter, emphasizing speed, breadth, and overwhelming power.
