राजपूजाविधानम् / Royal Reception Protocols during Āśvamedha Preparations

गन्धर्वा गीतकुशला नृत्येषु च विशारदा: । रमयन्ति सम तान्‌ विप्रान्‌ यज्ञकर्मान्तरेषु वै

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Gandharvā gītakuśalā nṛtyeṣu ca viśāradāḥ | ramayanti sma tān viprān yajñakarmāntareṣu vai ||

毗湿摩波耶那说道:乾闼婆众善于歌唱,精于舞蹈,常在祭祀仪轨的间隙使那些婆罗门祭官欢悦。由此可见,即便在阿湿婆梅陀那般肃穆严整的戒律之中,艺术亦能以合乎法(dharma)的方式施用:使执礼者得以舒缓振作,并维系仪式有序流转,而不损其神圣。
