Muñjavān on Himavat: Maheśvara’s abode, Śiva-stuti, and sacrificial gold
Chapter 8
taṁ śrutvā bhṛśa-santaptaṁ devarājo bṛhaspatim | adhigamyāmaravṛtaḥ provācedaṁ vacas tadā ||
When a wise guide or teacher is troubled, a leader should not ignore it; he should personally approach, inquire respectfully, and seek counsel. The verse highlights attentive governance and humility before wisdom.
Indra hears that Bṛhaspati is intensely distressed. He goes to Bṛhaspati accompanied by the gods and begins to speak—setting up a dialogue in which Indra will inquire into the cause and seek guidance.
