Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
ते वध्यमानास्तु तदा पार्थेनामिततेजसा
te vadhyamānāstu tadā pārthenāmitatejasā
毗湿摩波耶那说道:当他们被帕尔塔——光辉无量的阿周那——接连击倒之时,战局便果断转向更高武艺的胜利,昭示无度的凶猛终将止息于守纪而合乎正法的强力之前。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The line highlights the ethical idea that violent opposition, when it persists against rightful authority and disciplined valor, culminates in its own downfall; Arjuna’s 'immeasurable energy' symbolizes controlled power exercised in a dharmic frame rather than mere cruelty.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that certain opponents are, at that moment, being struck down by Arjuna (Pārtha), whose overwhelming prowess turns the encounter in his favor.
